Cron Children

Jamie and I had a chance to shoot some cute kiddos this past Friday evening.  Thanks Keith & Christina, for letting us take little Ella's 1-year photos (and for letting Colton join in too).  Poor little Ella was at the end of her patience, so we didn't get some of the shots we wanted with both of them together, but the shots we did get turned out great.

Bobcat Football!

I drove down to Bozeman, Montana, with my brother and our two oldest boys to watch MSU-Bozeman play Eastern Washington this past Saturday.  Special thanks to CTA for the tickets and to the Bobcats (especially Bill Lamberty) for the freelance photographer's field pass.

It was a pretty nice day for late September - actually almost too hot.  Had some fun playing with a rented lens (Canon's 100-400mm F 4.5-5.6L IS) and watching the Bobcats tear up the Eagles.

Family Photography Fun in the Park

Yesterday afternoon Jamie and I were able to spend some time with a wonderful Great Falls family!

It was really nice to work with such a happy family.

They were so much fun to shoot, the shots came naturally.

There were times we laughed so hard, Jamie actually had tears in her eyes!  We really had a great time!!

Thank you, Edmister's, for the joy of being your photographer!

P.S. - We also had the pleasure of working with Bethany Ewing for hair and makeup on this photo shoot.  Thank you, Beth, it was good to work with you!

My girls!

I was scoping out new (to me) photography locations last Monday in Great Falls, Montana, with the help of my wife and daughter.

Just a quick test shot, but I loved how happy they look!

Loved the light!

Getting ready to blow (that's a deep breath, not a yell).

I decided to start playing around with the pictures since I enjoyed them so much!

I was playing with selective color on this one... (Jamie couldn't wait for me to get this one posted, so she stole it from me and posted it herself. I suppose that falls under the "what's mine is yours" policy.)
