Dance Head Shot Portraits

Now that Scott has his studio, he really loves playing around in there (really, who can blame him!)  We had the opportunity to take some head shot portraits for some girls from Miss Linda's School of Dance.  One really nice thing about the studio is not having to set up everything, and being able to move from space to space fairly easily.  We enjoyed taking different photos of these girls on different backgrounds with different poses.  They were absolutely wonderful about it as well!  It was almost like they were trained to hold different positions!!  They were an absolute joy to work with, and we had a lot of fun with them!

Great Falls CMR Basketball

This weekend was CMR's Senior night.  A few of the mom's of seniors asked Scott to get some pictures of their sons at their last home games!  Always enjoying the challenge of taking portraits of different people in different situations (even ones outside of our JSV Photography studio!), he was excited to see what he could get!

Thank you, Lynda and Gail, for asking us to take pictures of your sons again!  We really enjoyed seeing them in action again this year!!

Stevenson Children

This past weekend we had the privilege of having two very cute kids join us in our Great Falls studio!  These two little munchkins were active, and so adorable to photograph!

It is so much fun to shoot children, you never really know what you are going to get.  Sometimes they are all smiles, and sometimes you can catch a serious/thoughtful look!

But when the kids have these great big, beautiful blue eyes the portrait just captures you!

Maternity!

So a few weeks ago we had the honor of having the Addy's join us in our new (okay, not sooo new anymore, but still "new") JSV Photography studio!  We wanted to experiment with some new ideas for maternity portraits, and they were willing!

There is just something special about a mom-to-be's glow that we really tried to capture on film. . . errr. . . in digital image???  Anyway, we wanted to get it in picture form!

And I have to say that a couple of these pictures really caught it for me!  But. . . my favorite of all really highlights the dad!

A Great Great Falls Family!

As a Great Falls Family Photographer, we really love to get families like the one I am going to show you into our studio!  We had a lot of fun with them!

Laas and Amy came to us because they hadn't had family pictures taken in a couple of years.  It really is amazing how time flies when you are trying to keep up with young kids!

Their daughter is four, and gave us some great shots, letting her attitude show through!  We loved it!  Her brother definitely tried to keep up!

Grotbo Family

We have been really enjoying our new studio at the Columbus Center in Great Falls, Montana!  It has been really nice to be able to set up our equipment and just show up and do a photo shoot!  I could really get used to this!!

This last weekend we had the joy of photographing the Grotbo Family.  While I had met some of them before, it was great to get to know the whole family!  We got the pleasure of having all 11 of them in our studio!

Wilson/Wearley Shoot

We had the pleasure of our first shoot in our new studio being the Wilson/Wearley family!  It was so exciting to be able to take portraits of this family.  They were a happy group, and we enjoyed our time together!
